Jerusalem the old City

Jerusalem, the Old City is divided into 4 quarters
The Jewish Quarter
The Christian Quarter
The Muslim Quarter
And the Armenian Quarter

which stands out as odd? Yes, you guessed right How did the Armenians come to have such a stake in the Holy City

The main landmark is the Armenian Heritage museum (above picture) which has large section regarding the Turkish Massacre of the Armenian people.
The Turks and Turkey as a whole, even today, deny it was a systematic genocide - To help you decide here is a short quote from wikipedia:
The Armenian Genocide – also known as the Armenian Holocaust, the Armenian Massacres and, by Armenians, as the Great Crime refers to the deliberate and systematic destruction (genocide) of the Armenian population of the Turkish Ottoman Empire during and just after World War I.
It was implemented through wholesale massacres and deportations, with the deportations consisting of forced marches under conditions designed to lead to the death of the deportees. The total number of resulting Armenian deaths is generally held to have been between one and one and a half million.

And let's not forget the more modern Cyprus wars
